Niagara Clean up
April 30, 2011
It was a beautiful Saturday morning for a
community clean up day and with the help of our
crew leader Ruth Cooper, residents and members
we spent the morning picking up after the storm
from the day before. With high wind up to 80 mph
which up rooted 40ft trees from their place of birth
and roof shingles old and new from homes and
businesses.
Everyone met at the entrance way of the Casino
for hot coffee and breakfast. In signing in we
received our ID stickers, bags and work gloves.
We mingled with the folks from other block clubs,
council members, police, firemen and returned
back to start our clean up.
The Memorial Park Neighborhood
would like to thank our volunteers for
a job well done.
Thanks Guys!
